What is an electronic lottery ticket and how it differs from a paper one

An electronic lottery ticket is a record of participation in a lottery that appears in the operator’s information system at the moment of purchase. It is not printed or handed to you: the ticket is stored in the participant’s personal account, and the result and winnings are linked to the account. Let’s look at what a lottery ticket is in online format, what it contains and how it differs from the familiar paper one. You can choose a lottery and buy a ticket in the “Lotteries” section.

What is a lottery ticket

A lottery ticket is what a participant enters the draw with: it determines whether they have won or not. The familiar option is a paper form. In an online lottery, the electronic ticket plays the same role: instead of a form, there is a record with a unique number; instead of a kiosk, there is a website.

On X2 LOTO, tickets for draw and instant lotteries are sold around the clock. The x2.kg website works in the browser of a phone, tablet or computer, so no separate app is needed.

Electronic lottery ticket: what it contains

For example, under the rules of the draw lottery “Magnificent Eight”, an electronic ticket contains at least:

  • the unique ticket number;
  • the draw number;
  • the date and time of purchase;
  • the ticket price;
  • the numbers chosen by the participant;
  • the status of participation in the draw.

In instant lotteries — for example, under the terms of “Arabeska” and “Football” — the ticket history shows the ticket number, purchase date, ticket value and result.

A draw lottery ticket is considered accepted for participation in a draw when three conditions are met: the participant has confirmed the purchase, the ticket price has been debited from the game account, and the ticket has been assigned a unique number in the operator’s information system. Until then, the ticket is not in the draw.

Where the ticket is stored and why it cannot be lost

On X2 LOTO, you can buy a ticket only from your personal account. That is why every ticket, from the moment of purchase, is linked to a specific participant, not to whoever is holding a piece of paper. There is nothing to store, hide or keep away from water.

You can find your tickets like this:

  • draw lottery tickets and their outcome — in the “My tickets” tab on the lottery page;
  • in instant lotteries — for example, under the terms of “Arabeska” and “Football” — the game interface shows the last five tickets purchased, and the full ticket history is stored in your personal account;
  • another way to check a purchase is the transaction history in your personal account.

If a ticket does not appear in either place, contact support: support@x2.kg or the chat on the website.

To buy tickets with real money and withdraw winnings, you need to complete verification: upload photos of both sides of your passport and a selfie with your passport, or verify your identity through Tunduk. Only people aged 18 and over can take part in lotteries, and verification confirms the participant’s identity and age.

How winnings reach your account

You do not need to present an electronic ticket for checking. Winnings on it are determined automatically and credited to the game account without any claims:

  • in an instant lottery — right after you open the result;
  • in a draw lottery — after the draw has been calculated.

Draw results are published on the website after the draw. On the “Draw results” page you can see the draw number, date, time and the numbers drawn, and each lottery’s archive shows past draws. You do not have to check the numbers by hand: you will see the outcome of your ticket in “My tickets”. You can withdraw money from your game account through banks and payment services of Kyrgyzstan — as a verified participant and only to your own account details. Withdrawal requests are checked, usually manually.

Draw lottery ticket vs. instant lottery ticket: what is the difference

Draw lottery. A ticket contains one game combination for a specific draw. You mark the numbers on the coupon yourself or tap “Quick pick”. The rules of draw lotteries state separately that the way numbers are chosen does not affect the probability of winning. The result is determined by the draw at the scheduled time. You can buy up to 100 tickets with any numbers in one purchase. In any draw lottery, a ticket can be bought for several consecutive draws at once, up to five: the numbers stay the same in all draws, and the price is multiplied by the number of draws. The list of lotteries is in the “Draw lotteries” section.

Instant lottery. The result is known right after purchase. For example, under the terms of the “Arabeska” lottery, it is held in series from a pre-formed pool of electronic tickets, and the result is visible after all fields of the ticket are opened. The graphics and animation in the game are decoration only and do not affect the result. One payment corresponds to one ticket of the chosen value. All games are collected in the “Instant lotteries” section.

Instant games have a demo mode so you can get to know how they work; it becomes available after you log in to the website. Under the terms of instant lotteries, demo mode results are not real lottery tickets, and no winnings are credited in demo mode.

How an electronic ticket differs from a paper one

  • Purchase. A paper ticket is bought at a point of sale during its opening hours. An electronic one is bought on the website at any time, from a phone or computer.
  • Storage. A paper ticket can be lost, torn or forgotten in a pocket. An electronic one is stored in the operator’s system and in your personal account.
  • Checking. A paper ticket is usually checked against the results table by yourself. For an electronic one, the outcome is shown in “My tickets”.
  • Link to the participant. An electronic ticket can be bought only from a personal account, so it is linked to the participant’s account from the very beginning.
  • Winnings. On an electronic ticket, winnings are credited to the game account automatically, without any claims.

Play responsibly

A lottery is entertainment with a chance to win, not a source of income. Only adults aged 18+ can take part: age is checked during verification. Decide in advance how much you are ready to spend, and do not try to win back what you have lost.
